We also "walked a tightrope", made quiche, practiced some French and read several books, one of our favorites being: The Man Who Walked Between the Towers by Mordicai Gerstein, and discussed several "REAL" High Wire walkers. Philippe Petit(the subject of the aforementioned book) and Charles Blondin (who the book Mirette was loosely based on).

  1. Ohhh Sheri! Mirette is our very next book when we arrive home from vacation.

I'm so motivated now and gosh I need to check out HSS again. I used a bunch for Moonjellies, but they didn't have as much for Gramma's Walk.

I'd probably would have forgotten again.

Thanks for posting these...you know I was waiting!!
